Our exclusive private-label brand, Nature’s Harvest, began with a revolutionary vision: create the most nutritious Canadian-made pet food possible. We made history in 2004 by developing the first recipes to include fresh meat in every formula, setting a new standard for pet nutrition in Canada. This commitment to excellence continues today through ongoing research and development, ensuring our recipes evolve with our understanding of pet nutrition science.
Canadian Pride, Global Standards – Our dedication to Canadian values runs deep. Every Nature’s Harvest product is proudly manufactured in Canada using Canadian-sourced, fresh ingredients. We exclusively partner with Canadian-owned independent retailers, creating a network that supports local businesses, farmers, and communities across the country. This commitment to Canadian quality extends to our manufacturing standards – our facilities meet the stringent European Union pet food regulations, recognized as among the world’s most demanding. We fully support your involvement in the community! Every February, our foundation (Global Pets & Animals Foundation) leads our annual “Show Us Your Heart” campaign, uniting Global Pet Foods stores across Canada in support of local animal shelters and rescue organizations. Through direct partnerships between individual stores and their local animal welfare organizations, 100% of all donations stay within the community, creating meaningful impact where it’s needed most. This beloved campaign raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually, helping thousands of pets find their forever homes. For our franchisees, it’s a powerful way to demonstrate their commitment to pet wellness beyond retail, building strong connections within their communities while making a real difference in the lives of pets in need. The foundation has no paid staff, and Global Pet Foods corporate will match donations for the campaign.
