Global Pet Foods is recognized by its franchise owners across Canada for an exceptional ranking in key areas of the franchise business model. The Franchisees’ Choice Designation was presented to Global Pet Foods, during a Gala Awards Presentation at the 28th annual Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) National Convention held in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Presented annually, franchise systems take part in a third-party administered survey, wherein franchisees are asked to rate the franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model, such as the franchisee selection process, information package, leadership, business planning and marketing, training and support, ongoing operations, and the relationship between franchisor and franchisee.
“The strength of the Global Pet Foods franchise system as well as the leadership I experienced at each franchise location visited, are the main reasons why I decided to take the leap three years ago,” says Tom Fitzgerald, owner of Global Pet Foods in Guelph. “It’s a great feeling knowing that I can wake-up genuinely happy to go to work every day and know whatever life throws my way, undoubtedly, I’ll continue to have outstanding support that is so vital to my success and the growth Global Pet Foods franchise system.”
“We would like also to thank the Canadian Franchise Association, which provides support and guidance to the development of franchising in Canada, now the 12th largest economic contributor nationally,” adds Paul Thomson, CEO of Global Pet Foods parent company. “The association ensures that franchisors have the support and capabilities to offer successful opportunities to Canadians pursuing their goal of business ownership.”
